Four museums, four different missions, and limited resources for each. MWB was asked to overcome these obstacles and created a branded destination district for the Mississippi Children’s Museum, the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame, and the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum.
The result was the creation of the LeFleur Museum District. The graphic identity created the opportunity for unique place branding while also serving to allow each individual museum to maintain a separate identity. Did it work? The first year after the campaign, out of state traffic to the museums collectively rose by 13%.
